Chlorine Removal

Disinfectants introduced into the potable water supply keep harmful bacteria from growing. These chemicals impart strong and undesirable tastes and odors into the water. Chlorine is removed by granular activated carbon filters providing high flow rate and long life. Chloramine requires more specialized filters using catalytic carbon and specialized medias.

Replacement Cartridges

Acid Washed Granular Activated Carbon (GAC)* General purpose taste, odor and chlorine removal. Utilizes ResinTech® AGC-40-CSAW / AGC-50-CSAW.
Acid Washed Coconut Shell Granular Activated Carbon* Premium taste, odor and chlorine removal. Utilizes ResinTech® AGC-40-CSAW / AGC-50-CSAW and stabilized KDF-55.
Coconut Shell GAC & KDF-55/85* Premium taste, odor and chlorine removal. Utilizes ResinTech® AGC-40-CSAW / AGC-50-CSAW and stabilized KDF-55 or KDF-85.
Coconut Shell GAC & Phosphate* Taste, odor and chlorine removal with scale and corrosion inhibitor. Utilizes ResinTech® AGC-40-CSAW / AGC-50-CSAW and phosphate.
Mixed Media† Uses ResinTech® MBD-80 which is a similar media used in the Pour Through Pitcher Market. Designed for heavy metals, chlorine, and organics removal with taste and odor reduction
Carbon Radial Flow† Effectively reduce chlorine and improve taste and odor for high flow, low pressure, point-of-entry and other high flow residential and commercial applications.
Carbon Block† Taste and odor control, chlorine/chloramine removal, and organic, lead, and cyst reduction.
